one that started the revolution; originally designed on June 28th,
1992 by Michael S. LaFevre, the First Series "030" is designed for use in
sophisticated low-to-medium power single-ended circuits. The FS-030
is especially suited for use with the W.E.
300B valve. Each 030 is entirely handcrafted and features the finest
audiophile-grade materials throughout.
The FS-030 is equipped with a very high quality , mil-spec, Teflon insulated
stranded copper hookup wire.
To realize the full performance capabilities of this extremely high quality
transformer, please allow approximately 100 hours of music playing time for
break-in. Then remember you are listening to something that changed
the audio landscape.

This is the first installment of MagneQuest's Single-Ended, air gapped
series of output transformer specs online. It is fitting we start with the
venerable FS-030, possibly our most famous example of SE air-gapped iron.
We will be adding all of our products here with specs, info, and mounting
diagrams, as well as tried and true schematics that have brought out the best
in our iron, not to mention the music!
